Who will win the world cup this time?

Brazil lost to France... that is a shocking surprise!! England lost to Portugal, this one many of us have expected it to come... The final 4 - Germany, Italy, France and Portugal. How exciting, the outcome this year is definitely going to be something new. Even though Germany has a higher possibility of winning I secretly wish to see them lose.

The truth of all truth

...is finally out!

I do not know this man. He does not know me in reality at all. Someone I reckon who just accidentally bumped into my blog or even my homepage somehow, added me to his list, told me a wonderful story about how he met me. Porkies!!!

Okay, at least he taught me this English slang "Porkies!!!" which is cute. It reminds me of Porky. How on earth did I get to know a writer?? Maybe I can publish a book one day too... he he he...

I couldn't keep my eyes wide open for last night match England vs Portugal. And the results are still as disappointing. Germany did not qualify, so does England now... I always think they are hot favorites whom at least should fight into semi (well one of them should).

I'm obsessed with rabbit...

Love-struck

I'm not sure if I'm in love... but I'm nourished by the good feelings.

I enjoy being with someone, laughing together, watching him eat, walking side-by-side, creating a mess of our food, have a tickle-you war!! I smile at myself reading the sms-es, I cry over him. Die, I've gotten myself into a mess. What am I doing!

Is it true when you least expect something and it comes your way? When I was looking for it, all that I gotten into was an emotional shit pit that I had problem climbing back up. I'm scared of dirtying my shoes again... you understand what I mean?

Its Euro 2004 now, I'm excited. I'm looking forward to matches on TV but sadly they aren't showing much except the first match. I want to watch Spain, Germany, England play or anything goes really. When can Channel 5 or "i" get so generous and sponsor us free matches live!!!!

It is amusing how some old people tried to speak english to me. I was in this coffeeshop getting my breakfast to ease my poor grumbling stomach. This old man thinking I'm non-chinese, tried so hard to get the message across to me. I spoke some hokkien and he still doesn't recognise I actually speak Mandarin!!! WHY!! Oh well, I want to clarify but it is funny how I see it. So I let it be...

Konichiwa, Watakushi-wa Tsuriki

The Japan National Team is playing against Singapore tomorrow if I'm 100% right. Both the national teams are putting up in the hotel nearby my office. It seems to be the one for most national soccer teams whom flew here. My company is dealing with regional sports events, so I have seen my colleagues speaking to the press or maybe even the players. I've noticed some Singapore players/officials at lunch time, BUT I do not recognise them. Speaking of that, my colleague was telling me how good looking Nakata is in reality, yeah? Let's see if I've any chance to see the japan players...

Aggressive Thais

R. Madrid 2 Thailand 1

The Thais played very aggressively from the start. Something I haven't seen much in the last Madrid match, but sometimes a little too rough in my opinion. I wasn't impressed by the first half, R. Madrid was keeping their best players for later. It was more like a good defence than playing for goals. It was till Carlos came on, that I believed it was going to be exciting. Unfortunately, the game wasn't a very good one. Maybe the Thais were all charged and ready, but Madrid seemed to be underperforming. And my Casilla was being substituted in the second half >.< I still prefer the Hong Kong match.

That's the end of their Asia friendly tour!!

Real Madrid Madness

Oh oh oh... R. Madrid 4 Hong Kong 2 on friday.

Just to self-declare that I am not a Real Madrid fan bcos of David Beckham. But yeh, I kinda liked him in the past, admired him probably. I got his biography for god's sake, he he he, but ah I haven't had the patience to finish reading it yet. He's cool, definitely. I am a fan, most likely bcos of World Cup 2002. I decided I should go for Germany or Spain, whichever that went further into the finals.

I am more of a goal-keeper fan when it comes to football. My two favourites are Casilla (he's my age!! damn) and Shay Given (aww..).

Back to the match on friday. Ronaldo scored the 2nd goal with his new tricks (which did impressed me for a bit) but then it became quite common when a few of them had been using it on the field. I must say, Hong Kong played pretty well in fact, though their defence wasn't superb. Their goalie did irritate me when he kept running far from his goal post. I actually panicked for them!!! But everyone knows R Madrid definitely wins.... oh well.

There's another match tonight - Thailand vs R. Madrid!!
