Like a kitten...

My mum came back with so much food (more than her baggage really)!!! Sometimes you can really see the difference - your parents going on a holiday and you going on one yourself. My mum loves food more than anything else that she could wear to beautify herself further. Ok, maybe besides money! Ha ha...

Volleyball again yesterday!! It was surprisingly a much smaller group, just 7 of us, but very nicely teamed to have some fun. The weather has gone back up to the perfect condition for sun-tanning. It was such a slacking session for us. Oopps, sneaking away for sun-tan and some volleyball-soccer. Of course, we did have our own friendly matches.

I returned home (after the game), knowing mum should have gotten back. And yeah, my souvenir should be some left-over after my sisters had done the filtering process. But I didn't mind. I guess I wasn't expecting too much about getting a present. My dad gotten a pair of shoes (stylo); my lil sister received a pair of "cute" slip-on and a bag (which she complained about); me and my old sister each has a similar necklace. I haven't got a choice, she left me the one with a bell-like pendant. It's lovely though. Putting it on makes me feel like a little kitten, soft and purring... Ha ha.

I'm no longer excited about london... that excitement has seeped in. Fear and worries have gradually evaporated into thin air... I'm right now feeling so stagnant. I'm about to do something that will change my life!! I should gather my courage, the air in my lungs, the hair on my head, the juice in my stomach and thrust forward!! Isn't it!!! Forget about others, its time to build my own future!!

Sigh!!!! I'm still waiting for my $128 dress to be altered to fit me... and its taking over 2 weeks. Mannnn, I'm as impatient as ever... hope all good things are worth the wait.

*yawn* Up at 1am

I watched Fight Club on Sunday TV. It made me laughed. Its a ridiculous film, I don't understand why is Brat Pitt in it - to act as an imaginary man!? He always get weird roles, don't you think... ;)

Volleyball wasn't that great, except I got to see a few hunks flaring their assets and skills in court. The rain has ruined the game, it was still fun hanging around with these bunch of "nutties"... I'll miss them so much when I leave. I'm getting "rough" with these guys, now I don't think they reckon I'm that quiet "china doll".

Pilates is still keeping my attention there, I'm beginning to look forward for every lesson. Somehow my instructor is giving me more attention - must be I'm a lousy new student. Err... better work it out the right way before I get all the pain and aching in future :)

Pillow fight, ouch!

Man, I haven't had such an aggressive brawl for very long...

We spent a friday night chatting away, fooling around, drinking alcohol, gambling, playing stupid games and celebrating the 24th birthday for one of our beach volleyball mate, Benson. Everyone of us finally retired at 4am, not one of us was allowed to doze off until we had our fair share in the games.

There was a time, a wrestle broke up. 3 of us girls were smacking 3 guys with pillows... I couldn't recall how it started. It was so violent, so rough, no leniency for the weaker sex! Imagine I was using all my limbs struggling, it must have been fierce. After what seemed like a long time, all of us finally fell onto the bed, dead tired. It must have burned all our calories from dinner...

I finally finally finally had a game of beach volleyball after months, hurrrrayyy. The rainy season and insufficient players has kept us away the beach for some time, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the ball! And I did pretty well on Saturday. The night before has definitely bonded us better. Yes, I'm getting talkative with these guys... ha ha.

Volley sunny day

I just deleted a ranting thread, now considering there's a risk someone at work might track this... still safer to type less verbal ones!! >.< I should get to more abstract writing for complaints.

Marcus was at court today again. Angela spotted him first, she has got sharper eyes for men than me I thought. He didn't notice us though we stared in the same direction for a bit. I couldn't remember the nth time... then he waved at me. Oh, so you saw me! I waved back - acknowledging his. But I didn't go up since he was playing in a match.

Barny brought his mum there. Lisi, your cute mother-in-law!! Don't beat me.
She's a lovely english lady, reminds me of my b&b hostess, Mrs. Bridget for a minute. I like english old ladies because they are so warm and with so much friendliness I never could experience here. But then, I guess my mum isn't that bad either, she's the local type of warm singapore auntie! He he.

My dad did scare the shit outta me. His boss let him continued at a cost of huge pay cut. It wasn't worth the money but at least he was contented he still got a job. A pathetic job that only pays enough for his own expenses, even less than half of what I earn. Poor dad.

We met a new team at beach volley today. Martin & Jianxiang. They made Angie & me so proud of our skills, simply because they are beginners. So bad of us, but they were fun and entertaining enough with their tactics. Nice game anyway. When I returned to our usual team... Marcus was gone. Ooops.

I felt lousy today with a flu. I almost didn't play in court except for stepping in once for merely minutes. It was so hot. And I got my face burned again.

Bittersweet

Before I go, I shall end the bitter day with sugar... afterall AR said I'm a sweet gal (can someone slap me for my smugness))))) Angela & I met the volleyball boys last evening. I mentioned on 11th August that I'll bump into them again. And there... the fairy's swaying its wand *magic magic*. For a moment, I didn't realise it was them... Angela exclaimed,"Marcus!" I turned and hey it was them. Unbelievable coincidence I thought. We boarded the train as they alighted from the neighbouring cabin. Marcus seemed to recognise us, like we did after a few seconds peeping. We waved. That's the end of the story. Anyone has a moral for the story??

Wet Saturday...

Volleyball was brought forward to Saturday.... ummm sort of weird, supposedly Saturday was for idling. But my Sunday today is cool as well, had a long sleep after all that exhaustion.

I missed the Cosmoleague soccer match - argh! I'd have loved to go. Marcus, I'll go and support your next match!

Saturday was hot. So hot now that I am a lobster. Red. Not tanned, since I am not that kinda of beach gal really. It was good, usual fun. I had this very funny encounter with 2 caucasian guys. One was skinny and taller, the other was fatter and shorter. I saw them on the train, on my way there. They were behind me. I had my lunch at the hawker, they were there too. After we got to Sentosa, we played for a while. They came. They played the court besides ours. And I actually joined their team playing against my friends!! So I got to know their names (Marcus & Danny). Anyway, I just think its too much of a coincidence. Today, my friend, Angela actually saw them at Somerset. Hey Angie, its yours now. Ha ha ha.

I was thrown into the sea by all these mates who ganged up on me. Bad of them!!! Esp. the guys. They complained of my 100 pounds!! Not that heavy I thought. They were too skinny for it probably. He he he. Coming to think of it, I didn't play as much, but I felt so sore yesterday. Maybe I need a day of rest before all these jumping, running and falling on the sand. We did win a few matches. Not going to say much, since it wasn't much of my credits. He he. My skills improve, yeah, thats for sure.

Up and Bumping!!

Hey, thank you people... you have always made my day! *hugs* I was physically too exhausted to come on last night to write a line. It was the MOST EXCITING volleyball game ever. BECAUSE we finally won a match. He he he. Not too sure if the opponents were too worn out, or we are better. But I can't be more glad that we beat them! *YEAH* Cheers to all my Team Mates (Joy, Angela, Mingli, Benson & Jacky) ho ho ho... I was almost recovered yesterday (except for my voice which made me still sick!), but sometimes that does sound more sexy. ~wink~ Up and bumping today, I feel very fresh (after our first victory game & triumphed over the monster!!)... p/s: hella outta goooood time soccer as well.
