Dear Syn was back and she's gone by now, she celebrated my birthday with me like I did with hers. I love my friends:) Anyway I have introduced Cyn (my ex-colleague) to her, and we all hit it off pretty well. I like small and intimate birthday celebration, not a huge party with dozens of people to entertain... or perhaps I'm feeling a little "older" and those aren't my things anymore?! Or am I just someone who prefer intimacy, privacy.. Quality over quantity is often the best. I also met up with another close friend of mine whom made me a Tiramisu cake and gave me a snowglobe (she knows I'm always collecting them!).Surprisingly... I received a lot of greetings this year, partly because it's being announced on FB and the calendar is reminding everyone!! But I have also gotten SMS greetings from people whom I didn't expect, my ex-supervisor, my ex-ex-supervisor, my ex-boss... an old friend, a few good friends!! Some came through private messages. And thankfully those whom should forget have forgotten too!
