If being a woman isn't tough enough...

Today I made a new acquaintance, and we hit it off instantly. I realised she came from Hong Kong to Singapore for her boyfriend. I hope all these men stop taking things for granted because a move may be just a change of location to them but for a woman it's a lot more. Ability to work is one, youth is another, having to start all over again to have an intimate circle of friends, being away from loved ones and more... I say these because I had done it for a man. Making the move is already a sacrifice and if the man expects so much more, he's probably not worth it. Fortunately for one of my BFFs and this new friend, things are working out well. However both of them have the same thoughts, they miss home and prefer it to living in another country.
