One of my cousins is sick, very sick. He has been diagnosed with meningitis last week and is in critical condition. I remember him as the "big kor kor" whom would always joke and play around with us. Since he's some years older than us, we slowly drifted apart when he got older and married. His dad (my uncle) just passed away last year due to throat cancer, and I certainly hope he'll be able to recover and ward off the bad luck lurking around his family.

I just read the news that DBS CEO Richard Stanley has passed away on Saturday from acute myelogenous leukaemia. He's only 48 this year, and left behind 3 children and wife. Saddening...
