NYDC at Suntec city. Well, I had been reading up reviews and it didn't sound good. NYDC's standard was said to have dropped and only thing we could ever eat there was the mudpies. I love their Elephanccinos though very often I do not have the stomach for them :P (not big enough!)
Anyhow, picked the place for friend's birthday dinner and went with zero expectation, left the place with a big grin, happy customers. The food was beyond expectation, the oven-baked mushroom ham was generous with the amount of cheese and I almost couldn't have enough. The spicy b.b. king chicken sandwich wasn't too bad too, my friend actually loved it... we ended up sharing food because both were yummy.
I would certainly give this place a 2nd chance after reading those reviews now... a re-visit to eat those cakes which I didn't have the chance the last time round!
