Singapore's Gumtree

I chanced upon an article on The Straits Times' Digital Life some days ago, and thought I would share this. Someone has actually discovered a little flaw in our little island before many of us actually do (damned, I actually wrote "insel" because that's "island" in german.. half the time, my head is thinking in german). Do you know what that is??

Most probably not!

Reason being that so many of us still live at home (as the culture is over here), and nobody actually thinks that renting and finding a room in Singapore can be hard and especially doing it without an agent (it can sometimes be impossible!). But having said that, I only agree with the creator of the site after having experienced it myself over in London. There, I could have easily found many options available on Gumtree, Easyroommate or even Flatshare. And for free, without going through an agent - a middleman. How convenient!

So hereby presenting this RoomsDB to you guys, anyone looking for accommodation in Singapore??? This might be a great help to kick off a start ;) Thanks to Sebastian!
