Recently and all the time, I read deaths in the papers, hear them on the TV... Obituaries are listing people in their 20s, 30s, 40s. What is "Insurance" for?? Why do we want to cover ourselves for a huge sum of money (of course, if you can afford it then why not)?? Why is CPF only allowing us to withdraw at the age of 67 or even 68 (in a few years' time) when not all of us will be living a ripe age of 90 or 100?? Why is money becoming such a burden and a limitation to many of our happiness?? Why do the rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer... and the poorer gets much lesser than deserved in life?? Is it karma or is it just how life should be?? If only, the world is much simpler...
People died... and sometimes too easily.
From bird flu. In car crash. In road accident. After failed operation. After strenuous exercise. In a robbery. Murdered. During child birth. Committed suicide. In a fire. In a plane crash. Drowned. Choked. Fell. Hit. Shot. Overdosed.
Unknowingly. Unexpectedly. Suddenly. Immediately. Slowly. Horribly. Charred.
