Dan (for short).
I met him last night.... after almost 10 years. I knew this guy back in 1998 and were very good friends. Soon after, he got so busy with work (being with RSAF) and flying all over, we lost touch for many many years. How did we reunite again??? The wonder of internet, I found him by chance and sheer luck one day.
After communicating on and off over text messages for months and months, it just came to us yesterday that we would meet and we did. It didn't feel strange or weird, but during our conversation I recalled the time: he mailed me a Rhino postcard from South Africa; he got me a birthday present and caught me by surprise; he sang with his guitar on the phone and he knew so much of my history (funnily he even brought up an incident I could barely remember by now).
It was great catching up... and it's one more friend found! It can't be any bad!
p/s: BS bought a Sony laptop yesterday at Funan, and it did shock me a little because usually he would be hesitating and considering it for a long time... Hahaha... but yesterday I witnessed him PAYING for it, and all I can say is MONEY is meant to be spent (as long as it's worthwhile)!
