Writing in Singapore

Oh yes, I am home. Not sure if I am very happy about this change yet, but I do feel comfortable again. Unlike the previous time I was back, I felt lost and an urge to return... Perhaps this time, a lot of arrangements have been made that it favours my stay here. Yes, I am going to add "at least for a while"....

It was last Tuesday I arrived, I still couldn't believe my feet are now back on the Singapore soil... And London, Germany, everything else only felt like a dream. A long dream where I love to be caught in it, and now I'm always trying to remember them. The only thing I still can't stand about living here is its humidity... and also the crowd. I am beginning to dislike living in a highly populated city, especially in such a small place.

On Friday, we Fab 4 had our usual gathering at a chalet. It was lovely to see everyone else again, had our very belated Christmas exchange with a delicious chocolate reunion cake (chosen and bought by me)... ahhhhh.... and a long night catching up and gossiping. The next two days, we invited lots of old friends over to join us in the BBQ. It was great and silly fun playing games, eating, watching DVDs and catching up since the last time I saw them was probably 10 months or more ago.

On Sunday, we had an hour practising our long-lost-touch cycling skill. It was such a warm nice feeling to be able to do that in nice sunny weather, stopping for a sea-breeze break at the breakwater, looking at dog owners playing with their pets, thanking Singapore to be surrounded by the waters (so we can have some beaches, though not the nicest and cleanest). Oh, and I can cycle better okay... except for the time when some great looking guys are walking towards me I have that tendency to crash!

Loveliest time since I am back, thanks to the girls.... that we have organised such a wonderful party!

Even though I am back here, my heart is still yearning to find the ultimate home, someone please take me away :)))))))))))))))))))))))
